Food That Fits the Day

Eating and drinking at The Peacock Country Inn is meant to feel easy and familiar. Guests staying with us, local regulars, and those passing through all use the space in different ways, and the food offering is designed to suit that. Menus focus on well-known pub dishes alongside seasonal choices, served without fuss in relaxed surroundings.

Whether it’s a quiet lunch, an evening meal, or a drink at the bar, the experience is unhurried and straightforward. There is no set occasion required, just a place where good food and drink sit naturally alongside time spent in the countryside or at the end of the day.

Why Guests Return
To The Peacock

Friendly atmosphere, very attentive service. Good menu. Lovely food with a choice of portion sizes to suit your needs. We were a table of 4 on a Saturday evening, there were a couple of larger Christmas parties happening but this didn’t slow down our service or quality of food. Highly recommended.
